TC Carter
Co-Chair

TC Carter is a seasoned nonprofit leader, educator, and advocate with over 25 years of experience developing and managing education and awareness programs. She brings to The Society for ADHD and Co-Occurring Conditions a proven track record of building impactful initiatives that serve diverse and underserved populations, including individuals and families affected by ADHD, co-occurring conditions, and a range of social and economic challenges.

TC is the founder and former CEO of A Kids Dream, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Winder, Georgia, that helped over 300 socioeconomically disadvantaged high school students access and attend college. Through partnerships with national retail sponsors, A Kids Dream provided each student with all college dorm room supplies, educational equipment, and materials — removing one of the most practical barriers to college entry. TC worked with students navigating foster care, homelessness, neurodivergence, and mental health challenges, and collaborated directly with colleges to secure appropriate accommodations, academic resources, and in some cases, admission pathways for students who would not otherwise have had the opportunity to attend.

A licensed Christian minister, TC is also a passionate multiple sclerosis (MS) advocate. She has delivered testimony on Capitol Hill, participated in MS public policy briefings and events, and served as a keynote speaker at MS fundraisers. She has been a trusted advisor to the MS patient advocate leadership board, bringing the same commitment to equity and access that defines all of her work.

In her role with The Society, TC oversees educational initiatives addressing ADHD and co-occurring conditions for diverse audiences including families, educators, and healthcare providers. She designs and implements awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote early diagnosis, and builds strategic partnerships with community organizations, faith based organizations, schools, and healthcare systems to expand the reach of The Society's programs.
