Tanya Murphy, CBTAC, MBSRP
Board Chair/President

Tanya Murphy is the President & CEO of The Society for ADHD and Co-Occurring Conditions, where she leads efforts to empower faith based and marginalized communities through ADHD advocacy, education, and support. With a focus on improving access and equity Tanya drives initiatives that promote awareness in faith based and marginalized communities. 

A seasoned professional with over 30 years of advocacy and program development experience, Tanya specializes in creating effective organizational strategies to support neurodiverse wellbeing in diverse settings. Her career highlights include spearheading knowledge management strategies as Chief Knowledge Officer at Harris Nibor International and collaborating with leading organizations like AARP, American Hospital Association, and the American Lung Association. Tanya’s work in public policy includes contributing to pivotal healthcare reform initiatives and advocating for equitable workplace practices. Tanya serves on the Board of Directors of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and is a member of APSARD (American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders).

TC Carter
Co-Chair

TC Carter serves as the Director of Education & Awareness, bringing over 25 years of experience developing and managing education and awareness programs for nonprofits. She oversees educational initiatives that address ADHD and co-morbid conditions for diverse audiences, including families, educators, healthcare providers, and the general public.

In her role, TC designs and implements impactful awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote early diagnosis and intervention. She also builds strategic partnerships with community organizations, schools, and healthcare systems to expand the reach of educational programs. TC’s expertise and dedication ensure that the Society’s initiatives foster understanding, equity, and meaningful support for individuals and families impacted by ADHD.

Brandi Walker, Ph.D
Treasurer

Brandi Walker, PhD, licensed Clinical and Research psychologist, is the CEO of Marie Pauline Consulting, LLC, her private practice dedicated to providing educational, clinical, and psychological guidance and expertise to organizations seeking to improve their social climate, employee and customer relations, and/or enhance their cultural humility and cultural consciousness. Dr. Walker is also a board-certified executive leadership coach and organizational consultant experienced in providing educational, clinical, and coaching guidance to leaders and their teams in order to support strategic initiatives that target the reduction of mental health challenges and promote resilience. She was especially successful in this regard with military leaders and Servicemen and women. Dr. Walker is a Howard University and University of Maryland alumna and former Army Clinical Psychologist and faculty member at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Liberty, NC (historically known as Fort Bragg). She is a recently retired commissioned Army officer and actively conducts research on children with ADHD, their family, and various other variables. She recently started V.O.I.C.E for Neurodiversity, this research-based nonprofit pursuing access to care and Quality of Life for persons/communities encountering systemic and societal obstacles.

Trent Ullrich, MBA
Secretary

Trent Ullrich is an advocate, academic, and public policy professional who brings his expertise and lived experience as a person with ADHD to help advance the Society for ADHD’s mission. Currently, Trent is a PhD student at the Cornell University Brooks School of Public Policy, where he leads and contributes to research on health policy and American politics. He also brings experience in consulting and electoral politics—currently serving as a consultant with High Lantern Group and previously working on local, state, and federal political campaigns across New York. Beyond his academic and professional commitments, Trent is a Co-Chair of the CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) Advocacy and Public Policy Committee and volunteers as a facilitator with the Focus Forward Project, a 13-week life skills program for people in federal jails or out on bail under pretrial supervision. He graduated with honors from Cornell University with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and earned his BA in Government and Politics summa cum laude from St. John’s University. Trent lives in upstate New York with his fiancée, Bryanna, and their two cats, Furio and Piccola

Naline Walker, MA
Director

Naline Walker served as a Regional Manager for the Southern Regional Support Center for Children and Adults with ADHD. Simultaneously, Naline was a Chapter Coordinator for the Prince George's CHADD County Chapter. Naline has also served on the HU (Howard University) Healthy Kidz ADHD Research study team. She holds a Master's in Criminal  Justice, a Master's in Business Administration, and certifications in Non-Profit Organizations. Naline also brings over 15 years of extensive experience in human behavior, including work as a Residential Counselor, and more than 5 years supporting military families on a military installation. Naline believes in the power of community and has a deep passion for creating spaces where marginalized voices are heard, valued, and supported with real resources. She is currently part of the leadership team with the Society for ADHD, Director of Engagement for V.O.I.C.E. and Naline Walker, secretary for the V.O.I.C.E. Joseph Agovino
Director

Joe Agovino is a seasoned political strategist and communications professional with over 15 years of experience advancing pragmatic public policy, stakeholder engagement, and coalition building across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As Political and Communications Director for the U.S. Hydrogen Alliance, Joe leads the organization’s outreach to policymakers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders, helping to shape a national conversation around the future of clean hydrogen and its role in achieving a more sustainable, secure, and equitable energy economy.


Joe’s career includes senior leadership roles on federal, state, and local campaigns, including managing one of New York’s most closely watched congressional victories in 2024. He has served as a Communications Director and policy advisor in the New York State Senate, a Congressional Policy Fellow, and a Director of Community Development, consistently working to bridge the gap between institutional policymaking and the real-world needs of diverse communities.

 

A dual graduate of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University with master’s degrees in Public Administration and Political Science, Joe brings both analytical rigor and practical experience to his work at USHA. His approach to communications is grounded in values of clarity, accessibility, and impact, ensuring that policy innovation is matched with public understanding and trust.

 

Joe founded Civic Response, a public affairs and communications firm focused on voter engagement and participatory democracy. He continues to champion scalable models of civic infrastructure and public engagement. .

Director

Diana is a dynamic political operative, policy analyst, and communications professional with extensive experience in grassroots outreach, political campaigns, and civic engagement organizations. As the Director of Electoral Programs for Islip Forward, she leads policy development, community advocacy, and volunteer mobilization efforts centered on equity, immigration justice, and economic opportunity. Her foundation in public service includes work in medical billing operations, multilingual outreach, and youth leadership, reflecting a career driven by community empowerment, practical solutions, and inclusive civic participation.


Born in Tacoma, Washington and raised on Long Island, New York, Diana is a proud dog mom to a Dachshund named Morty and enjoys reading, gardening, and rock-climbing.
