The Society for ADHD

The Society for ADHD is dedicated to empowering adults, faith-based communities, and historically marginalized populations through ADHD awareness, education, advocacy and collaboration. We aim to bridge gaps in access to vital information, professional support, and culturally relevant tools for assessing and managing ADHD and its co-occurring conditions.

Enhancing outcomes and improving the quality of life for individuals with ADHD by creating safe spaces to learn, grow and receive access to resources.

Bridging the Gap

Bridging gaps in access to vital information, education, awareness, diagnosis and access to resources for the assessment and management of ADHD and its co-occurring conditions.

We have partnered with V.O.I.C.E. For Neurodiversity, a 501(c)3 non-profit collaborative-based organization to develop the ADHD & Neurodiversity Collaborative Online Community that  connects historically underserved and marginalized communities challenged with neurodivergence to resources, relevant information and support groups.

Removing Stigma Through Education and Awareness

Transforming lives through practical community education and culturally conscious awareness through our ADHD in the Family Tree: Understanding the Roots Campaign that includes the ADHD Unplugged: Candid Conversations podcast; and a events designed to foster community around our strengths, our successes and our willingness to embrace our differences.

About Us

What We Do

Awareness & Education

Providing science backed, evidence based and culturally relevant information about ADHD  and its impact on late diagnosed and  marginalized individuals and families.

Advocacy

Educating elected officials about the unique challenges faced by late diagnosed and marginalized ADHD communities.  Teaching individuals how to become ADHD advocates. Collaborating with organizations to support culturally conscious ADHD research.

Partnering with Faith-Based Organizations, Building Community Support

Guided by our motto, “Different Not Broken,” The Society partners with faith-based organizations to host both virtual and in-person forums that raise awareness about ADHD, deliver science-backed education, and help break the stigma surrounding neurodivergence.

Access to Assessment & Management

We collaborate with culturally conscious ADHD specialists to provide affordable or free screenings and assessments and connect individuals with low-cost treatment options, including therapy, nutrition, supplementation, online tools, apps, medication, and coaching.
