Tanya Murphy, CBTAC, MBSRP

Board Chair/President

Tanya Murphy is the President & CEO of The Society for ADHD and Co-Morbid Conditions, where she leads efforts to empower individuals, families, and communities through ADHD advocacy, education, and support. With a focus on improving access and equity, particularly for late diagnosed individuals and communities of color, Tanya drives initiatives that promote awareness, workplace accommodations, and holistic well-being for neurodivergent individuals.

A seasoned professional with over 30 years of advocacy and program development experience, Tanya specializes in creating effective organizational strategies to support neurodiverse wellbeing in diverse settings. Her career highlights include spearheading knowledge management strategies as Chief Knowledge Officer at Harris Nibor International and collaborating with leading organizations like AARP, American Hospital Association, and the American Lung Association. Tanya’s work in public policy includes contributing to pivotal healthcare reform initiatives and advocating for equitable workplace practices. Tanya serves on the Board of Directors of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and is a member of APSARD (American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders).

TC Carter

Co-Chair

TC Carter serves as the Director of Education & Awareness, bringing over 25 years of experience developing and managing education and awareness programs for nonprofits. She oversees educational initiatives that address ADHD and co-morbid conditions for diverse audiences, including families, educators, healthcare providers, and the general public.

In her role, TC designs and implements impactful awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote early diagnosis and intervention. She also builds strategic partnerships with community organizations, schools, and healthcare systems to expand the reach of educational programs. TC’s expertise and dedication ensure that the Society’s initiatives foster understanding, equity, and meaningful support for individuals and families impacted by ADHD.

Trent Ullrich, MBA

Secretary

Trent Ullrich is an advocate, academic, and public policy professional who brings his expertise and lived experience as a person with ADHD to help advance the Society for ADHD’s mission. Currently, Trent is a PhD student at the Cornell University Brooks School of Public Policy, where he leads and contributes to research on health policy and American politics. He also brings experience in consulting and electoral politics—currently serving as a consultant with High Lantern Group and previously working on local, state, and federal political campaigns across New York. Beyond his academic and professional commitments, Trent is a member of the CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) Advocacy and Public Policy Committee and volunteers as a facilitator with the Focus Forward Project, a 13-week life skills program for people in federal jails or out on bail under pretrial supervision. He graduated with honors from Cornell University with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and earned his BA in Government and Politics summa cum laude from St. John’s University. Trent lives in upstate New York with his fiancée, Bryanna, and their two cats, Furio and Piccola
